First Tea Party

Chloe had her first pretend tea party today. Baby Girl invited all her favorite guests to her party. They were lucky enough to enjoy some oreos, donuts and tea. Chloe is definitely a hostess with the mostess!

21 Months

Chloe is still learning so much at 21 months. Some of her newest words this month include ring, dog, mine, tree, grass, pink, house, door, open, sit, foot, feet, popcorn, cake, house, kite, train, tummy, phone, duck, pig, gym, slide, zip and swing. She's also learned new names like Donna and Hanh. Some of her newest Vietnamese words include hot, boobies, nose, eyes, mouth, her girlee parts and go home. She's also learned how to say and understand the concepts of heavy, hot and cold. Besides learning words, Baby Girl's learning how to put together two or three words together to communicate her thoughts. Some of these include Mickey Mouse, open door and I Love You. In addition to new words, Chloe's been learning new tricks like counting from 1 to 4, using the stairs by herself, pretend playing with her tea set and watching a movie at the theatre. Mama and Daddy love it that they now have a baby that can communicate so much!

Cadbury Egg

On the way home from Austin, Mama and Daddy decided to stop at their favorite kaloche store Weikel's for a treat on the way home. Little did Mama and Daddy know that while they were checking out, Chloe was looking for some of her own treats! Baby Girl found a basket of Cadbury Eggs at her level and in less than 10 seconds, started goin to town on it. So Mama and Daddy bought the egg that Chloe opened and let her have at it in the car!

Mmm....so good!

Good Times in Austin

Mama and Daddy had a great time showing Chloe all of the great things Austin has to offer. The first must-do of the day was hitting Pluckers. Baby Girl had her first taste of the famous fried pickles and wings and she loved it. After the yummy treats, Mama and Daddy took Baby Girl to the Drag for some showing and sightseeing. Once Chloe was all shopped out, the family hit Zilker Park for some outdoor fun. Chloe played on the swingset, took a ride on the train and finished it off with a nice snow cone treat. Mama and Daddy thought this was enough adventures for Chloe, but Baby Girl was still up for some night fun after her nap. The family took a leap of faith by going to their first movie together and everyone survived! What a nice way to end the night.

Road Trip!

Daddy took his girls on a road trip to Austin this weekend to celebrate Mama's birthday. Mama and Daddy were a little worried that Chloe would be uncooperative during the road trip, but that was the contrary! Baby Girl was singing, dancing and snackin the whole time!

House Visit

Mama and Chloe dropped by the Nathan household today to for a quick visit to give them some goodies for the new addition to their fam. Mama and Joy caught up while Naomi and Chloe decided to have their own play date with the swingset. Mama was happy that she could catch up with an old friend while the girls enjoyed some independent play time.

A New Friend - Julia

The Phan family met Chloe's new friend Julia today. Baby Girl was excited to meet the new addition of the Nathan family. Now she'll have three girls to play with when she visits!

Phan Sistas

Mama's favorite Phan sistas came into town this weekend to help her celebrate turning 32. Chloe loved them so much that she learned their names right away. When it was time for them to head back home, Baby Girl was so sad that she kept on asking for them all night!

Fun in the Sun

The weather was so nice today that Mama and Auntie Phuong decided to take the kiddoes to the park for some fun in the sun. The kids had a blast catching up and playing together outside. After a little park time, Mama and Daddy took Chloe to her first Rodeo and Carnival experience. Baby Girl loved all the animals, rides and games. Mama and Daddy can't wait to take her again next year!
