Christmas Eve 2008

Christmas Eve was a funfilled day for Chloe. First, her second cousin Linh came over and surprised her with her first Christmas present...a table with chairs. Baby Girl loved it so much that she couldn't stop playing with it. She loved the fact that Mama and Daddy let her color on the table with the washable crayons. Chloe also loves the fact that she can drag the chairs to the living room to play with it also.

After some hanging with Cousin Linh and Anna, the Le Family came over to celebrate Christmas. This year was so different from last since there were two little toddlers tearing up wrapping paper, running around and playing with their new toys. Mama and Daddy still can't believe what a difference one year can make.

And to top of the night, Chloe had a special delivery from her Baby God Daddy Jonathan. He sent her a Chloe doll and unicorn that was just to her liking! She couldn't believe how much the doll resembled her and she loved the fact that it came with it's own pony. What a way to end the night!

Ladies That Lunch

The Phan family had Dim Sum today with some of Mama's nearest and dearest girlfriends. Chloe loved getting her grub on and trying out all of the Dim Sum goodies. Mama had a lovely time catching up with her girls. What a win win situation!

Chloe is definitely a social butterfly. She went to two different gatherings with Mama and Daddy today without any meltdowns. Mama couldn't be prouder to see her little girl being such the hostess with the mostess at both events!

Chocoloate Lover

Baby Girl loves sweets. She can't get enough of them and her number one love is chocolate. This passion for sweets started this year at Halloween when Mama and Daddy gave her a taste of the good stuff. Today she showed her second cousin Anna how much she loves sweets by eating up a whole chocolate Santa bar by herself. After devouring the chocolate bar, Mama and Anna took Chloe shopping for a new rug and for Anna's wedding dress. As usual, Baby Girl was a trooper with running both errands.

Santa

Santa made a visit to Chloe's school today. Unfortunately, Chloe was not happy with that at all! Like many of the other kiddoes at her school, she freaked out as soon as she was close to Mr. Claus.

After the Santa Claus traumatization, Mama took Chloe to the airport to hang with her Cousin Aidan, Uncle Ca and Aunt Nancy for a bit. They had a layover in Houston, so Mama and some of the Le Family went to spend some quality time with them at baggage claim. The kids had a blast imitating each other while the grownups caught up over some yummy Tan Tan takeout.

Snow Day

Chloe got to experience her first Snow Day today. Grandma Phan was so anxious to keep Baby Girl warm that she picked up Chloe for a sleepover. Check out the love!

Doctor Lady

Chloe had her 18 month check up today with the Doctor Lady. She currently weighs 21 lbs. and is 30 3/4 inches. Poor girl cried as soon as she was in the office and all throughout the visit. This is only the beginning of many more sobbing visits.

New Friend -- Juliana

Chloe has a new friend now. Her name is Juliana and she belongs to Mama's old high school bud Janelle (aka Picture Lady) and her hubby Todd. Baby Girl didn't get to meet her friend today cause she's been sick, but here are the pics of her new friend!

Baby Loves Coloring

Chloe's newest love is coloring. Give her some crayons and she can play independently for at least 30 minutes to an hour by herself. Sometimes she wants a little company, but mostly she's content with being alone with her crayons. Mama and Daddy are loving this new passion for coloring!
