New Year's Eve

This New Year's Eve was a lot different from the ones in the past. Mama's plan was to have a nice dinner, then watch a movie with the family and wait for the New Year to arrive. To Mama and Daddy's amazement, that did not happen due to a little wine that she had that night. After a nice dinner with Daddy, Chloe and Mama passed out at 8 pm and woke up at 11:30 pm by Daddy to make the countdown to 2009. Sorry Daddy that your two girls were party poopers!

18 Months

Chloe is still soaking things up like a sponge at 18 months. Some of her new words include mommy, mom, please, egg, bye, up, down, poo poo, pee pee and baby. As if that wasn't enough, she learned how to say "let's go" in Vietnamese and her second cousin's name Linh. Some of Chloe's newest tricks include eating with chopsticks (with a little supervision) and naming body parts like her eyes, mouth, head, nose, hands and feet. Lastly, she's loves her arts and crafts. Her favorite past times include coloring, water painting and playing with stickers. Mama and Daddy's little girl is growing up so fast!

Denial

Mama and Daddy thinks it might be time for the potty training process to begin. Most of the time Baby Girl lets Mama and Daddy know when she needs a diaper change for #2, but lately things have changed a little. A funny thing called denial has reared it's dirty little head. Chloe hates diaper changes so she denies it these days when she needs a diaper change.

Milk

Here's a quick video clip of Chloe asking for milk in Vietnamese. Mama loves it when Baby Girl asks for her milk cause it sounds so sweet.

Party Girl

Chloe had a fun filled day out with Mama and Daddy today. First, she started it by having a little one on one time with her God Daddy Jonathan. After some play time with Jonathan, Mama took her to the Children's Museum to her friend Katalia's 1st birthday party. Baby Girl loved the museum tour so much that Mama is contemplating celebrating one of her birthdays at the museum. And finally, Mama and Daddy took Chloe to a family wedding at the end of the night. Chloe was such a trooper cause she didn't complain once. She is definitely a party girl!

Christmas 2008

Chloe had a fun filled day today for Christmas. First, she started the day by opening up presents with Mama and Daddy. Baby Girl was so excited to get her first baby and stroller set that she played with them all morning. Mama loved seeing Chloe feed the baby and push the baby around. What a sweet sight!

After a quiet morning with Mama and Daddy, Chloe went over to Grandma Phan's place for Christmas dinner and to open more presents. The cousins had a blast opening all the gifts. The biggest one of the year was Katie's Wii. Everyone was so excited about the new game that they came over to Mama and Daddy's place to play with it after dinner. What a way to end the night!

Christmas Eve 2008

Christmas Eve was a funfilled day for Chloe. First, her second cousin Linh came over and surprised her with her first Christmas present...a table with chairs. Baby Girl loved it so much that she couldn't stop playing with it. She loved the fact that Mama and Daddy let her color on the table with the washable crayons. Chloe also loves the fact that she can drag the chairs to the living room to play with it also.

After some hanging with Cousin Linh and Anna, the Le Family came over to celebrate Christmas. This year was so different from last since there were two little toddlers tearing up wrapping paper, running around and playing with their new toys. Mama and Daddy still can't believe what a difference one year can make.

And to top of the night, Chloe had a special delivery from her Baby God Daddy Jonathan. He sent her a Chloe doll and unicorn that was just to her liking! She couldn't believe how much the doll resembled her and she loved the fact that it came with it's own pony. What a way to end the night!
