Year of the Tiger

This year Chinese New Year landed on Valentine's Day. Good thing Mama and Daddy celebrated it early on Saturday since today was such a busy day. The family headed over to Grandma Phan's home for an early celebration over lunch. Once everything was eaten, Mama and Daddy quickly gave Miss Chloe a nap so she wouldn't be tired for the evening celebrations at her Great Aunt's house with some dining and Lion Dancing. By the end of the night, the family was pooped from all the partying!

Mini Celebrations

Today was about mini celebrations. The first celebration was for Chinese New Year at a festival in Chinatown. Mama, Grandma Le and Auntie Phuong beared the cold and took kiddoes to watch the annual Lion and Dragon Dances for Chinese New Year. Even though it was cold and dreary, the kids were still able to enjoy themselves.

Once Mama and Baby Girl got home from the Festival, Daddy had another surprise for his girls. He made hand-dipped chocolate covered strawberries for Mama and Chloe to enjoy for an early Valentine's celebration. What a way sweet surprise!

Family Day Out

The weather was finally nice today after a week of rain so the family decided to take advantage of it! Daddy took his girls to eat at an outdoor restaurant to start the nice day off. After a nice lunch outdoors, the family headed to the park to give Miss Chloe some more playtime outdoors.

What should I draw?

Do I have to take a pic now?

Finally! Inspired!
