Thanks to Picture Lady for giving Mama and Daddy the rest of the pics from the family's beach session in Galveston! The expressions on Baby Girl's face is priceless! It took her a while to warm up to the idea of sand and waters...but once she figured out that they could be a source of entertainment, she loosened up and was all smiles!

Walking Ms. Cha-Cha

The cutest new thing that Chloe loves to do is walk Ms. Cha-Cha around the home with her leash on. It's pretty funny cause Cha-Cha really wants to go for a walk outside, but unfortunately Baby Girl can only hold onto the leash tightly in the house. Poor Ms. Cha-Cha has no idea what's goin on now that Chloe can walk!

One Year Checkup

Chloe had her one year checkup with the doctor lady today. Poor girl had to endure five shots for this visit. Mama knew this was coming but she still couldn't stand to see them poke Baby Girl five times in her thighs! Chloe made Mama so proud when she cried for less than a minute and then went on her merry way. Here are her stats for her one year checkup...she was at 25% with both her height and length. Baby Girl now weighs 19 lbs. 4 ounces and is 28 inches long.

As for a weekly update, this one was a full one for Choe! The hardest thing was that her back left moler grew in this week. Chloe's been fussy a lot at night so Mama and Daddy assumed she was growing in some more front teeth...but out of no where the back one popped in! No wonder she's been crying more this week. The back one is taking it's time in growing in and it's much bigger than her other ones. Some cool things Baby Girl this week includes her learning how to sign "more" and covering her boobies on demand. Mama wants to post one of these pics but Daddy has censored it! One more major update for Chloe this is week is that she is now only drinking Cow's Milk! Mama still misses the days when Baby Girl preferred her boobies!

In other news, Chloe got to spend some quality time with Angelica and Ramzi today after her visit with the Doctor Lady. Mama was worried that she would be fussy and cranky after her shots, but as usual Baby Girl entertained everyone with smiles!

Crying Play Date

Chloe had an interesting play date with her friend Isabel from Austin. Mama, Daddy and Isabel's parents were taking turns consoling babies due to separation anxiety and dog trauma. Isabel was so scared of Daddy that she wailed everytime he got near while Chloe cried cause Miss Cha-Cha surprised her by jumping on her too quickly. Once the crying subsided, the babies enjoyed playing together and all was good again!

Energizer Bunny

Once again, Baby Girl showed Mama and Daddy that she had more energy than the Energizer Bunny! She was able to attend a Vietnamese Engagement Party, have lunch with her Auntie Kimmie and Cousin Katie, and be the hostess with the mostess all in one day! Mama is so happy that Chloe is such a social butterfly like herself!

4th of July

The Phan Family had a full day of celebrations today for the 4th of July. Chloe started the morning off by hanging with Mama and the Le Family at the park. Mama and Auntie Phuong had fun catching up while the kiddoes played on the swings. After a fun time at the park, Mama and Daddy took Baby Girl to her friend Miss Naomi's 1st Birthday Party. Chloe had a blast swimming and eating all the sweets that Mama and Daddy would allow her.

As if that wasn't enough fun, the Phan Family topped off the night by heading to the Miller Outdoor Theatre to listen to the Houston Symphony perform and watch the fireworks. Mama and Daddy were surprised that Chloe stayed up later than usual to see the fireworks. Maybe it was all the junk food that Baby Girl ate or maybe it was the Glow Stick that a friendly neighbor gave to her just for being cute. Either way, it worked and Chloe really enjoyed watching the fireworks light up the sky. This was definitely a memorable 4th of July for the Phan family! And the cutest thing that happened today was that Chloe found a new way to thank Mama and Daddy for all the fun...she learned how to blow kisses!
